This course will be addressing these risks and implementing effective anti-corruption strategies, the construction industry can improve the quality and sustainability of infrastructure projects, reduce costs, and enhance public trust.

a) Introduction to Corruption Risk Management – in a context of construction and property industry

b) Recognise the requirements of Internal and External Stakeholders of Construction Projects

c) Identify potential corruption risks through the Project Life Cycle

d) Construction Agreement: Build up Risk Mitigation Plan to strengthen the Terms and Condition of the Contracts

e) Procurement Risks: Appointment Terms, Due Diligence and Fees Structure

f) Project’s Corruption Risks Register

MODULE 2: CORRUPTION RISK MANAGEMENT – PROJECT EXECUTION STAGE

a) Common Pitfalls in Managing Construction Projects – Potential corruption risks

b) False Claim: Definition and Applicable Laws

c) Elements of False Claim, potential risk related to project payment milestone / interim payment progress
